Wednesday, February 1st – Disabled American Veterans Monthly Meeting
Opened to Disabled Veterans throughout Monmouth County. Held in The Country Kitchen at Kensington Court from 10:00AM – 12:30PM, lunch is provided.
The Fort Monmouth Memorial Chapter 29 hold their monthly meetings to educate and assist disabled veterans with whatever challenges they may be facing. Key note speakers cover a variety of subjects including: VA compensation, healthcare, pension and employment rights. The goal is to get information out to Disabled American Veterans to help them build better lives for themselves and their families. Lecture on Women of the Civil War – ‘Patriots Without Petticoats’ presented by historian, Glenn LeBoeuf. AAUW is a nationwide network with more than 100,000 members whose mission is to advance equality for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research. Saturday, February 25th – Jersey Shore Rose Society monthly meeting

The JSRS is dedicated to encouraging an interest in and cultivation of roses. Members consist of people with various rose growing skills and all are invited to attend.
